Salisbury Township has had multiple brush fires over the past week that could have been prevented. This is a reminder that while all drop off centers are closed because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, open burning is still a violation of Salisbury Township Ordinances. It is imperative that everyone follows the ordinance on burning for the safety of the property owners, neighbors, and firefighters. The police department will be enforcing violations of the burning ordinance along with our fire inspection division. The Township’s Devonshire and Franko Yard Waste Drop-Off sites will be closed until further notice. We are currently exploring temporary alternate arrangements for the collection of yard waste, and additional information will be posted on the Township’s website as it becomes available.
