In 2013 the Fire Inspection Program was started to increase public safety inside Salisbury Township. Since the inception the program has been under the supervision of the police department. In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, some members of the Salisbury Township Police Department are pleased to announce that we will wear pink badges for all of October.

According to the CDC, each year in the United States, about 245,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women and about 2,200 in men. About 41,000 women and 460 men in the U.S. die each year from breast cancer.

The Salisbury Township Police Department is extremely proud to announce its new leader, Chief Kevin Soberick. Chief Soberick has proudly served the residents of Salisbury Township since June of 1995. He is a 1987 graduate of Lehigh County Community College where he holds a degree in Applied Science Electronics and Communications and a 1994 graduate of the City of Reading Police Academy.
