It is almost November. During the months of November and December several officers will be participating in NO SHAVE NOVEMBER and DOUBLE DOWN DECEMBER. The money that is paid to "buy in" will be donated to support cancer research. No-Shave November seeks to grow awareness — not to mention hair-ness — about cancer. The Lehigh County Police Testing Consortium and twelve area agencies have entered into an agreement to conduct a cooperative testing process for the position of police officer. We are pleased to announce that Dustin Grow has been promoted to Fire Services Director for Salisbury Township. In 2013 the Fire Inspection Program was started to increase public safety inside Salisbury Township. Since the inception the program has been under the supervision of the police department. No Caption Pink Badges for National Breast Cancer Awareness

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, some members of the Salisbury Township Police Department are pleased to announce that we will wear pink badges for all of October.

According to the CDC, each year in the United States, about 245,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women and about 2,200 in men. About 41,000 women and 460 men in the U.S. die each year from breast cancer.

Chief of Police Sworn In

The Salisbury Township Police Department is extremely proud to announce its new leader, Chief Kevin Soberick. Chief Soberick has proudly served the residents of Salisbury Township since June of 1995. He is a 1987 graduate of Lehigh County Community College where he holds a degree in Applied Science Electronics and Communications and a 1994 graduate of the City of Reading Police Academy.
