School Districts across the country that use "SHS" for their school names have seen posts on Facebook and other social media sites depicted a threat of violence. Salisbury Township Police Department was notified in the early morning hours this date of this threat and called Salisbury School District staff. Upon investigation it was noted that this post from Ray Andres was found and determined to be the same as all other posts. The initial threat started in Guam and spread to the continental US. Another account has changed a name to Ray Andres and is from Salisbury North Carolina. Salisbury Police along with other police departments have been in constant contact investigating this post. Extra police patrols and security measures were and are in place to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of our students and staff. If you have any concerns of safety, or questions please reach out and ask. Our School Resource Officer is with school staff monitoring the situation and ensuring safety. Please continue to reach out to local police if you see or hear any threats of violence.
